Well I left my home in Scotland
O the bonnie banks and briars
I took my trusty hacksaw
A mallet and some pliers
I went looking for adventure
For love and for employment
But mainly I was looking for the source of my enjoyment
And I've found it here in London
A city full of losers
With lots and lots and lots and lots
And lots of lovely trousersWith lots and lots and lots and lots
And lots of lovely trousers
I miss roamin' in the Gloamin
I miss rambling in the heather
I miss living in the Gorebals
Dressed in tartan and in leather
O I miss my bonnie Scotland
And it's many the tear I've spilt
But it's frustrating for a ferret
Cos you can't run up a kilt
So I'm living here in London
With it's night clubs and it's boozers
And lots and lots and lots and lots
And lots of lovely trousers
With lots and lots and lots and lots
And lots of lovely trousers
I love the Scottish weather
And all those Scottish floosies
But I can't abide a man
Who wears a kilt instead of trousers
So I caught the late-night sleeper
From the Highlands to this lowland
And it's here I ran into
A rodent megastar called Roland
Now I'm living in the Ratcave
(Well ferrets can't be choosers)
And everytime I get the chance
I run up someone's trousers
And everytime he gets the chance
He runs up someone's trousers
Some people like to eat a lot
And others like to sleep
Some dress up in costumes
And pretend that they are sheep
Some like trips on steamers
Or on cabin cruisers
But I'm content when on the scent
Of a pair of trousers
Some like to fall down a lot
And get covered in bruises
But I like lots and lots and lots and lots
And lots of lovely trousers
With lots and lots and lots and lots
And lots of lovely trousers
And I like lots and lots and lots and lots
And lots of lovely trousers
He likes lots and lots and lots and
lots
And lots of lovely trousers
He likes lots and lots and lots and
lots
And lots of lovely trousers
