| The programme that brought Roland to our
screens.
Roland heard that a new breakfast TV station was starting up, and thought they would need new talent. He went and spoke to the big boss, and told him that he was brilliant, highly-talented and a versatile showbiz star. The boss didn't agree, and promptly threw him out of the building. Undeterred, and much to the amazement of the studio management, Roland built a shed on the roof and the Rodent Broadcasting Corporation was born. Roland's first show was on 1st April 1983, and ran for a week. They were a massive success - so much so that the boss relented, told Roland he was wonderful, and offered the use of their studios! The legend had started.
