| Roland Rat - The Series II was
broadcast between April and July 1988, on
every Monday night around 4.30 under the
Children's BBC brand.
The BBC3 strand was
dropped - so were Maureen and Darcey - and
there was no guest star to open or close the
show.
However, the big names
in the comedy sketches were still there -
this time June Whitfield, Frank Bruno, Ken
Dodd and Nicholas Parsons all appeared in
one guise or another.
On the music front,
Bananarama, The Communards and Voice Of The
Beehive all performed in the RatCave
studios.
Roxanne Rat made her debut
early in this series, after writing to
Roland asker him for a job!
